Over time, knives become dull and develop rounded edges, but this can be remedied with sharpening using a rough cut sharpening steel, removing the dull material and leaving a sharp edge. For infrequent use, a rough cut sharpening steel is suggested, while a fine abrasion sharpening steel can be used to achieve a finer edge.
This sharpening steel from the EUROCUT series is affordable and has a hygienic full plastic handle, making it lightweight and comfortable to handle. The length of the blade is 30 cm, and its surface hardness is over 65° HRC.
